While I haven't 100% Cooking Companions, I have spent a lot of time with this game in the last month or two, and this game is worth playing multiple times with the amount of ingredients and care placed into this recipe. Cooking Companions is complex with twists and turns that leaves a player thinking about certain choices made, even after you exit the game.

You may expect a cute mascot game about cooking, but there is an insidious layer inside of this sweet onion. Do not be fooled; this game is not for the faint of heart.

Anatoly, Karin, Gregor, and Mariah are lost in the woods, and take shelter in a cabin to avoid a torrential flood that seems to have no break in sight. As the cook, the player is responsible to satiate the hunger of the others. With not many ingredients, it is up to the player to rise to the occasion!

The dark humour and charm lures you in, and then the plot sinks it's teeth into you when it dawns on you that not everything as it seems. If Dread Weight is anything compared to Cooking Companions it will be a more than welcome second course. This game is sweet, sardonic, cute and macabre. I am trying to remain as spoiler free as possible, because trust me when I say the pay off is so worth going into Cooking Companions blind.

This game is a must play!
