Early Access Review
When i first reviewed this game a year ago, with 5 hours played, I said that vivid/stasis "Seems great so far!", and that I was excited for more.

A year on from that review, several updates and 125 hours more playtime later, that "more" has come in droves. What I thought would be the "peak" of storytelling for this game in Chapter 1, has been exceeded again and again by every new story update; Chapter 2 became my favourite rhythm game experience of all time, then the ARGs surrounding the game did. And now, with the release of 3.0, which entails Chapter 3, Chapter 0 and 17 new songs (the majority of which are originals!), I can safely say that vivid/stasis has become my favourite rhythm game of all time, even rivalling some of my favourite games of all time.

Team Vividstasis have combined ideas into their game which I've never seen attempted before, and through the unfolding mechanics of the game, just work. A rhythm game with a story is commonplace nowadays, but a rhythm game with a full-on RPG? Maybe once in a blue moon, but let me know if you know any games which combine those with a fishing minigame.

While vivid/stasis is an experience best enjoyed spoiler-free, the community around the game has developed into one which I have great pleasure interacting with on a day-to-day basis. If you ever find yourself stuck on a part of the game, then there will be plenty of people willing to help you out.

Just like a year ago, I'm excited for whatever future updates hold for vivid/stasis, and I'm sure that the next year will hold just as much greatness.

TL;DR: 11/10, Among the best games I've ever played.
