It stutters at times with a ryzen 9 5900x, RTX 3080 and 32gb of ram but past that the game is great.

It runs fine now as far as i can tell, even runs on my 2021 gaming laptop with an Ryzen 5 5600h and Radeon RX 6600m

Damn that's wild! I'd be so pissed! I'm waiting for a sale tho so hopefully it's fixed by then.
