While I loved the first game in this series, I don't believe the changes made to Bonelabs have been nearly as revolutionary or as progressive as Boneworks was in 2019. The game handles worse, the puzzles don't provide enough context generally to proceed, and the AI is overall mostly the same (Minus some minor improvements).

Enemies still stumble and fall way too much, climbing has gotten substantially worse, and it's still difficult to do simple things like rack the slide on a pistol or the bolt on a rifle...

And the worst thing in my opinion has been a substantial downgrade in level and puzzle flow, spaces have become much larger without much context or purpose. I have never struggled with puzzles as much in any game as Bonelab, which really sucks considering how much I loved Boneworks level and puzzle flow.

I still believe with some updates this will become a great game, but compared to Boneworks, I'm struggling to enjoy this. Hopefully by the time I complete the game I will change this to a recommended, but until then I'd advise if you buy this game you do so with caution.
