Learning the characteristics of what the spirits love to eat and what they dislike feels like you've become great friends and it's going to be a friendship that lasts a long time, but it doesn't. Learning to say goodbye is the toughest part of all this. It's extremely beautiful and saddening to see them go, but they have to.
