Banned again, but yes, all the good key games I repurchase on GoG. Steam is a sinking ship, planning uninstall, soon as I get my last good games off. (COH, Shadow of War, TSC, etc...)
As you noticed, GoG games just run, no launcher needed, you can save install files as backup. And if you use their Galaxy Launcher, you can upgrade/downgrade something that wrecked your game, much easier and with total control.
