Love, LOVE... L O V E this game! The kid that played JSRF back on the original XBOX is screaming at how fantastic this game is. I feel like i'm towards the end of the story and it feels amazing. IF YOU ARE A JSR FAN. YOU WILL LOVE THIS GAME.

Now, naturally this game being released on day one i did run into a SINGLE issue. During one of the dream sequences my frames DROPPED and i mean heavy. That Katamari Ball was eating up all of my frames and I couldn't really play without it being SUPER harsh to look at. Other than that issue, i had a few personal issues with the game.

#1. The Music is TOO repetitive. The way to play songs is through the phone and by selecting them when you find them in the world. When you find them they end up being songs that the DJ had already played recently so it doesn't expand what you've already have been listening to. After 5 hours of play I felt the songs loop a bit too frequent to the point where I noticed ONE song playing EVERY time. Apparently this game has, 31 songs to choose from once unlocked and JSRF had 21. I think the break in the mix along with the DJ talking to us every now and again helped with how repetitive it was? I did feel like the lack of someone talking to us like how DJ Professor K did, is what the game was missing. However, I did love the song selection and finding them.

#2. The police heat gain is too fast and the cutscenes with them happen too often. I'm fine with the popo being called on me for doing a little bit too many memes on the walls, but they get called immediately when you tag a single piece that's new. On top of that, you get a mini cutscene when they upgrade in heat too. GTA style. I get that they're upping the offensive, but i don't need to see the opps pulling up EVERY TIME. If it was a little notification via text from anyone in the crew saying "Look out the opps are getting stronger" type i'd be happy. But the fade to black every time you Devil May Cry combo a single cop is wild to me.

Other than those two things, I love this game and i'm fully invested on getting every achievement and playing for 100+ hours more after that. I love this game, I need/want more for/from this game and I hope it brings in a new generation of JSRF fans.
