Just realized I never left a review for this, so I'm doing so now. I used to play this daily, grinded with friends, met some life long friend as well when I started back in 2015, most of which I still talk to, to this day. One of them sadly passed away last October which broke a lot of us in our group, but we stayed there for each other. Honestly, I wanted to thank you, Facepunch for the memories, friends, bonds I've been able to make over the last 9 years, even with a 3 year break from gaming. Yeah, Rust is pretty toxic but you never know, you may find some people that end up being life long friends. Give it a try, just don't up and trust people.
