The second GTA game i played back in the day. Vice City came out on the PC in 2003, i picked it up and played it somewhere around 2005 to 2007. Quite possibly my favorite GTA of all time. Im a sucker for anything 80's so that further heightened the experience of this game. If you haven't played this one i would highly recommened playing it.

The story is more intereresting than GTA 3 imo; it takes alot of cues from 80's films, and television. The aesthetics of the world really work in its favor and really makes you feel like your in the 80's. The various car designs, the npcs, and even the many easteregg references (Scarface mansion, Miami Vice music and cops) really addon to it.

The gameplay is still the same from its predecessor. You have the ability to jump, run, sprint and crouch like GTA 3. There are new weapons in this GTA; compared to GTA3 having one set of weapons, GTA Vice City has atleast 4 sets of weapons from small to heavy.

For the music you have yet again a really well picked soundtrack. You have a combination of 80's hip hop to Rock, to Newwave and Synthpop. The sound effects were well made for its time. As for the voice acting you have a couple of celebrities (Ray Liotta as Tommy Vercetti) Dennis Hopper, Burt Reynolds, Gary busey etc essentially a top notch performance and an interesting choice to have them voice the characters given their backgrounds.

All in all, its well worth the money and its another great GTA experience.
