A faithful recreation of the original game. It refined dated and lackluster aspects of the original and was brought up to speed with current gaming standards; if you're looking for a game from your childhood that will feel the same today as it did back then, this is one you won't want to miss.

Great game, great devs. Easily worth the money.

It's a fun game with a lot of potential. While more complex than Diablo 3, Wolcen doesn't quite reach Path of Exile's level of customization and uniqueness when it comes to building your character and progressing through the endgame. In it's current state, I would only recommend this game if you don't mind some bugs (large and small). $40 is too much for this game IMO, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to wait for a sale. In that time, they're sure to iron out many of the larger bugs. The mixed reviews are definitely warranted; considering how long this game spent in an early access-like state, some of the bugs and issues the game faces are a bit ridiculous. These are the kinds of thing you would expect to be taken care of early.

This is a good game, but it's a new game. There is clearly still a lot of work to be done, but it's a much better version of the traditional prop-hunt. If you're looking for a cheap game to enjoy playing with some friends off and on, this is a good one to pick up. Here are some of my suggestions for the devs:

1. Increase the damage that the Hunted take when shooting random props. Since the hunted take so little damage when shooting props that aren't players, the hunted are essentially encouraged to shoot every single prop they suspect. I would suggest increasing the damage taken from 0.5 to 3; this will obviously require some playtesting, but the hunted should be punished for shooting non-player characters.

2. The prop's nightvision should either be infinite or last longer. It feels really bad to use, and it always seems you don't have nightvision when you need it.

3. The explosive mine from the hunted seems a little out of place. I'm not sure it needs to be in the game. It might be better to change it to a more utility based mine.

4. One of the biggest issues that the props face is that they do little to no damage when they are attacking. This might be intentional, but if it is, it should be more obvious that props are not meant to be attacking regularly. There were many times that I was attacking a hunted, and it seemed I should be able to assassinate/kill them.

5. Hit registration is a problem. As a prop, you don't know whether or not you're hitting the enemy. This leads to a lot of "I'm attacking this person and I think I'm doing damage but I don't know so hopefully they die soon". Definitely needs to be fixed.

Overall, I definitely recommend this game. Support the devs and encourage them to keep updating and working on it. This is definitely a game that I plan on revisiting and playing sporadically in the future.

Started playing near the start of a new league (PoE's "season"), and I've enjoyed every bit of it. The game itself is very similar to the play style of many other ARPGs (notably the recent Diablo 3), but I do believe that it is much better done. The character builds are much more expansive, and each class has many different options that work compared to Diablo where one set bonus per class is better than the rest. If you're a fan of games filled with grinding, monster slaying, and building a gimped or devastatingly powerful hero, this is the game for you. As someone who played Diablo 3 for many years, PoE is what I wished D3 had always been. The trading is (mostly) balanced, and the community is great. 8/10

This is honestly one of the most refressing games I've played in a while. The graphics are good, the gameplay is great, and the concept finally works. On the surface, a 4v2 PVP game seems like it would be hard to balance, but the developers do a great job. The main game mode is a ton of fun and offers loads of replayability; while we had less fun with the hide and seek mode, the juggernaut mode was fun as well. Surprisingly, the bots are well coded as well and actually contribute. Definitely worth picking up to play with friends; whether you pay a sale price of the regular price, It'd be worth it. 9/10

Exceptionally well done. For people who love Game of Thrones this is something that will really put you in a nice spot of wanting more. It really is amazing how much the choices you make will affect the story. Very fun and definitely worth the amount of money that you pay for it.

Love this game. Hunderd upon Thousands of hours can be put into this game, and you will still have more to do. I have met people playing this game that I plan to keep in touch with for a long time. Tenoutaten
