What Never Was is an apt name for a game that was never intended to be--somehow, this Unreal engine exercise was extended into a "feature length" experience. Regardless of its origins, it's polished and playable - and worth your time.

Pros
+ Detailed visuals
+ Fully voice acted from start to finish
+ Immersive experience
+ Puzzle solving
+ Completely Free
+ Sassy Pig Achievement to complement lunar pig emotes

Cons
- Can be completed in 15 minutes
- The first puzzle can be brute forced
- Not much to interact with
- Ends on a cliffhanger

If you enjoy short point and click adventures, then you have nothing to lose by spending a coffee break on this little gem. On a positive note, the dev has hinted at a sequel...

Achievement Hunters: Make sure to inspect everything multiple times. Those are the hidden achievements. Also note, it appears to be restricted, so it won't add to your completed count.
