For a game so amazing in conecpt and the shreds of time the game works it is one of the best game I have ever played. But once you realise the sheer amount of failures the devs and community are you realise this game is bound to fail.

I got invited to the closed testing and the community was pretty good you got a few people who were chill and always willing to play and have some fun. This game was closed tested for about a month and a half got like 2 updates then when the test was to end the testers were all in the discord voice chat talking about the fun times saying how they will miss the game when it goes down, then all of the devs joined the discord and some talked most were voice muted but could still hear we were giving our opinons on what should be done and all of us had agreed the game needed work and alot of it. We expected the game to go down for a month or so to polish some server side issues, but the morning after that night "HUNT SHOWDOWN IS NOW ON THE STEAM MARKET". Not even 12 hours after the servers went offline the game was on the market ready to be bought.

I talked about server issues earlier those issues being randomly losing connection mid game without knowing and playing the whole 30min to hour long game out to get a message no stats were recorded you are reset to before you played and also the servers needed to be restarted several times a day to allow people to play with friends and even just play at all. The game was not omptimized it played like a tech demo that ran at 20 fps on any setup. The buggs were numerous and I understand this is a EA game and this is what is in EA games buggs and bad optimization which I can live with cuz thats what us testers are there to test and help fix. So what did they do in those sub 12 hours before it came out to the market NOTHING AT ALL. they punched out a broken demo of a game that in little did not work at all you had to watch the discord for announcements saying the servers are going offline to restart soon and if you didnt get out of the match you lost your hunter and the progress you made. For most people they lost all of thier work often.they did not touch the game in any way and wanted to make fast cash because this game was hyped.

Now where I think these devs are crooks is the fact that the day I am writing this I was told that some simple coding does not exist in this game yet. If you make a enemy hunter bleed to death you dont get the kill and the mods told me that was not a bug and thats how the game is they even told me recentley that explosive barrels used to not grant kills. This game has leaderboards for how many times you ptfo and how big your skill streak is so you think this stuff would matter to them, only cheaters are on the leaderboards.

The community after the game came on the market has degraded to the lowest of scum now. In game no one but your duo can see you name, thus meaning no one can track you to see who you are so to many people this means they can scream racial slurs at each other and be the lowest of people and when you die your game is frozen for like 15 sec in a menu where they can say anything they want and you cant stop it. We have had no word on patches to see player names and report options, so hackers and toxic people can run rampint in this game.

FOR ANYONE WHO READ MY RANT: congrats you just read a rant from another toxic gamer but hear me out, I wanted this game to do well I really did, but even being able to directley tell the devs what to do they didnt care. This game could be a hit and I hope it makes a turn around but after what I see in its infant stages I see a grim future. I hope someday I can delete this review. but people need to realise other people make these games not robots so that means they can be crooks scammers and many other things so I find it fair game to call these people out for the huge amount of short comings. From the people who brought you Crysis (even if it is a smaller crew) this was a let down you should be ashamed of yourselves this was a total fail of a start to a great game.
