Despite all the negative feedback this game gets its honestly very enjoyable. There is the occasional minor bug here and there but like this game was obviously rushed by the higher ups when clearly it could have been delayed some more to polish the minor details out. 30 hours in and i can say that its definitely worth getting, even if you have to stick it out for it to run smoothly on your machine.
Edit: Havent touched the game in awhile. the promise for all the sweet sweet dlc was pushed back, game is still buggy. The story, after playing the game thru multiple times, is great in some aspects and lack luster other times. Missions are repetitive but some are pretty memorable, the characters are all somewhat unique in their own way and you really end up liking most of them. Im sure at some point this game will be great but thats up to the modders to decide.

Ive played many hours and i do enjoy it, but playing solo on a vanilla server is very difficult but if you like a challenge then its pretty good.

Yeah, I haven touched this game in over a year. It's very fun and is better playing with friends. But since Dean Hall (Rocket) left to work on another game, this became a hunk of sh*t. the 0.60 or.62 (I forget which one) was when this game just stopped being developed for like a year and a half. It's not goin anywhere anytime soon and until they let modders finish their mistakes this game will always be TRASH.

Edit 2020: so coming back to this game after its full release and seeing how the DayZ expansion mod has done, this game has actually now become a pretty good game. I love the direction that the devs went and ido still stand by what i had state a few years back, i see now that they have let modders really develop this game into what it should have been years ago. But, thats what early access is for i guess, happy to see the community is thriving and more lively than ever. Really brings back DayZ mod vibes with all the different server communities.
