The shortest way to put this is: If you're interested in the setting, you will enjoy the game. The highlight is definitely experiencing the atmosphere, learning the lore (+ for gameplay purposes), and unlocking stories/songs. If the setting does not interest you, this is probably a skip.

The other mechanics are not bad by any means. Combat ranges from serviceable to pretty good (albeit a bit easy), but I haven't tried the roguelike mode. It's a deckbuilder but with a small twist compared to other games with the same combat mechanic.

I only tried English VA to check how it is. Ranges from serviceable to very good, depending on the character. Nothing groundbreaking but it does the job and didn't have any random, glaring issues like some characters in Gothic for example.

The only truly subpar aspect of the game is in 3D models which are laughable at times. It does suck you out of the immersion/atmosphere for some specific assets, but exploring an area is such a minor part of the game that it's not a big deal.
