Of course, like most games, it kind of reliant on purchases but not because it helps you win, but because it adds a lot to the fun factor of the game. Ever since i started playing this game again, I have had a great time playing the killer and playing with friends. The only thing I would downgrade the game for is a lot of the killers as of lately aren't really playing for the fun of both, but for the win. Which in all respects, isn't a bad thing, but can however influence how you should play when in reality you play in however is fun for you. If you think letting no one escape, by all means do it, but if you rather let people that fairly beat you escape, you can. The game is your playground, and especially as the killer, you set the rules.
