Gameplay is a big improvement and the graphics compliment the world very well. The story has more highs than lows and is a solid 8/10 game imo.

Perfect 1:1 remake of a masterpiece.

Game is poo poo. Janky controls, no dodge, no targeting, bad voice acting, NPCs and Pawns talking over each other, no cinematics, and the bosses have too much health. Didn't feel fun.

This game was a hidden gem for me. I can't believe I held off on it for so long. It's one of the best Resident Evil games and easily the coolest final boss too!

Trippy game and sweet art style. The story leaves you wanting more.

I would recommend this game only if you have a deep love or respect for old PS1/PC era survival horror games and are ready for a challenge. The music fit the atmosphere and the enemies were really unique. This game would have spooked me as a kid in that era. There are some flaws with the game though. The camera has an issue where it turns you around whenever it tries to transition you to the other side of the area you're in. The enemies run just as fast as the player making it almost impossible to reload without taking a hit. I have to give the creator props for implementing an aiming indicator that lights up when the enemy is within your sights enabling you to shoot or bait them off screen. That's a first in the genre I've ever seen. There is a story to the game that you can piece together through notes you find as you play. The ending is a little bit of a cliff hanger and there seems to be areas in the game that were not completed that you could have explored. If there ever is a sequel I would play it.

It's pretty fun and original overall. Gameplay gets old after around the halfway point and there's way too many objects to collect and souls to save. It was satisfying overall and I hope there is a sequel.
