Early Access Review
A modern shooter who's devs considered the anti-cheat system to be an afterthought which could be patched into a finished game eventually is not encouraging. These days more than ever I value a robust anti-cheat system more than the actual gameplay itself, which is a shame because the gameplay here seems more than decent for an early access game. But the arms race between cheaters and developers is a vicious one. Just adding in EAC and thinking that it will help is very concerning to me - it's widely known that Easy Anti-Cheat is incredibly easy for hacks to bypass, and it will require much more work from the devs to secure their game and the servers it's played on.

I hope for the sake of the game that the devs shape up and prove that they have what it takes to create a top tier experience. Lack of effective anti-cheat keeps me out of so much of the FPS genre, and it will keep me from reinstalling this game until the problem is truly tackled in an effective manor. At the time of writing I played on about 8-10 different community servers over the course of the past week or so, and every single one had a cheater on it who was spamming hundreds of grenades and RPGs, speed hacking, and/or aim hacking (lasering through multiple walls from across the map), all blatantly.

A game built fully with anti-cheat bandaid slapped on at the end is bound to end up as the untrustworthy nightmare of a release that Amazon had with New World, where it's going to be trivially easy for cheaters to abuse extremely powerful scripts and cheats. And it's going to be genuinely impossible for a player or admin to tell whether someone is using more "subtle" types of cheating.

It's important to note that the prevalence of blatant cheating is the easier problem to see and track, but eventually when the devs do (hopefully) get it under control, my confidence in whether they will have been able to do anything to prevent subtle-cheating will be near zero still - and that type of cheating still ruins the environment and trustworthyness of a game in the long term.
