I have only a few hours on the PC version, but I have beaten the 360 version 3 times. So far, the silky smooth 60 fps and high resolution are enhancing the experience even further.

An excellent, genuinely underrated game. While I don't like this incarnation of Dante as much due to his lack of clever dialogue (opting for more of an in-your-face, "♥♥♥♥ you" type speech than 1-4's more snide and humorous banter) I think pretty much every aspect is equal to or better than the main series.

The art style is an absolute pleasure to look at, with carefully chosen colors and architecture. Limbo is a very unique setting and feels very oppressive, which is what they were going for.

The music is very high on my list of best ost's, though it's definitely not for everyone. It is a mixture of Combichrist's aggrotech/death metal and Noisia's bass-heavy electronic music (Dunno exactly what genre, but it ranges from Drum 'n' Bass to Dubstep). A testament to the ost's quality (and to the quality of the musicians composing it) is that I actually am not a fan of the genres in general. All in all, it feels very appropriate to the gameplay and pumps you up as you lay down some sick combos.

Which brings me to the gameplay. Some criticize it for being less "free" than the originals, and I see where they're coming from. DMC4 in particular has quite a lot of stylish freedom in what you can do, and you can perform a buttload of crazy combos with cancelling and tech and all that. However, the grappling system and the ease of switching weapons in the heat of battle make it a very smooth and skill-intensive experience. The multiple melee weapons allow you to tailor your approach to battle on the fly, using a scythe or shurikens to take out a mob of easy enemies, an axe or knuckles to deal some heavy damage to high profile targets, or your trusty sword which is good in any situation. But the thing that makes combat so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun is the aformentioned grappling hook. Depending on whether you have angel or devil weapons equipped (by holding the left and right trigger, respectively) you can either pull yourself toward the enemy or pull him to you. This opens up all sorts of "CUHRAYZEE" juggling shenanigans.

And the bosses. Oh, the bosses! While they are somewhat easy, they are extremely fun encounters with unique mechanics. I don't want to spoil anything, but they're some of the highlights of the game.

And so, I wholeheartedly reccomend this game. If you like hack 'n' slash games, this is one you should definitely try out!

9.5 out of 10. If the dialogue were a little bit more reminiscent of the originals, I'd give it a 10. Too bad the fanboys killed a chance of a sequel.

I love this game so much. It filled a void in my heart that TF2 left when it went too wacky for my tastes. Like I said before, now that Phantom is nerfed, I hereby change it to a wholeheartedly positive review!

It's a good game - don't get me wrong. It's immersive, tense, beautiful, and fun. Tracking is an absolute thrill as well. It's a game I'd gladly pay $15-20 for. However, it's free to play, but not in a good sense. In order to have any real fun after the first hour or two, you'll need to pay ridiculous fees. You wanna hunt something besides mule deer and rabbits? You need to buy liscences with real money for individual animals. Even better, the liscences aren't even permanent! Plus, you need to buy lures, scents, camouflage, and even AMMO! On the "plus side" you can allow companies to fill your computer up with malware for some free ingame cash.

TL;DR, it'd be great without tons of arbitrary paywalls

Fistful of Frags is one of the best online shooters I have ever played. While it lacks a little bit of content in terms of maps and gamemodes (which will be put into the game in due time), the gameplay is utterly addictive and deep while simultaniously accessable and simple. The lack of large magazines and fast firerates make every bullet meaningful. The gunfights are tactical, frantic affairs which are decided by aim and position rather than reflexes.

The loadout gives you a handful of choices, most of them being guns and equipment. However, a unique addition is which hand your character favors, whether it be right, left, or both. Alongside your loadouts are several crates located around the maps. These bestow you higher-tier weapons than those accessable at all times such as a scoped rifle, high-calibur revolver, or pump shotgun. Due to the power of these guns, the crates make for chaotic hotspots and keep players moving around the map.

If it costed money, I would be hesitant to reccomend it in its current state as the four maps are already getting a little stale. However, it will be updated frequently according to the devs, and the growing community will bring custom content.

But it's free so you have absolutely no excuse to get this game unless you have a phobia of cowboys and passing whiskey.
