ARK Survival Evolved is really good game. Of course there is a lot of work which has to be done, but still it is playeble. If you like just PvE there is so many official and unofficial servers which you can use, because play it alone is boring. There is also some RP servers which you can use, if you want different experience.
Yes some mechanics don't work well, yes sometimes you can find really annoying bugs, but you can also find many mods which can make your game experience better (or worse, it depends).
If you want play for fun and if you don't mind that there is some problems in game mechanics, this game is for you. The content is really good and all the developers trying their best to fix it or at least minimalize bugs.
