Since there's only a skeleton anno 1800 community on steam there are really no reviews of DLCs. So let me try to describe my experience and help those that can't pick them all or are scared to invest more money.

I finally finished the run with all DLC and I mean all meaning I can finally provide a proper review of this endgame horror in gere

Starting with the port expansion dlc ,you get access to modular port that can do multiple things, mainly allow you to import and export most goods in the game and with time the value of these goods go up. This means you can reliably not produce certain things or overproduce others, plus you can reach tier 4 without going to new world, which can be useful if you play in a weird way, possibly tier 5. There are also other modules that raise you storage capacity, act as extra pier, allow for boosts in trading speed etc. The main character from this DLC is Captain Thobias who is a reskin of our favourite Captain from vanilla, so it's a bit meh story wise. You do, however, unluck new ship type which is basically your steamer cargo ship, but it’s faster for just a few other unimportant drawbacks. Best dlc in the pack so far, but nothing too fancy.

The tourist dlc, it adds hotels, restaurants, buses which sadly just connect tourists to their destinations ie. they don't really serve other purpose. There's a bootleg Eiffel Tower as a monument which I love and you will love it, however the whole progression system here is not that friendly, there's only one hotel model, you need several of them to unlock further, literaly first tiers of goods you can deliver to your toursits and that just ruins your city design. Your story character is a reskin of a tourist and the story isn't too compelling at all so a little bit of a pattern here. Overall it's a medicore dlc with lots of wasted potential.

Now skyscrapers, I finally played for a long time and managed to max out these skyscrapers. You get a new guy in story, Mr. Bader and his assistant and they are actually really engaging while still reskined investor and engineer (yet they somehow look better), they make progression system fun somehow. New skyscrapers are endgame content and this angers me, it's logical, but it's something that takes a lot of time to even approach. Once you are there you just upgrade already existing Engineer and Investor housing, which makes these really slim and tall towers and the proportions are so unrealistic it hurts my eyes. Yes you can stuff so many people there and for anyone who wants to have as many investors or engineers as possible on the map this is a way to go, but from purely design stand point, they look out of place. You will build a massive tower as a monument, that one has massive base, which again makes it look out of palce, it reminds me of Chrysler Tower and it's funny, because I'm bad at skyscraper names and I knew that one. Production chains utlise just a few building models and require a lot of complicated goods from new world, these goods are also at least partially used by new tier of popualtions which is introduce in last dlc of season 4 so not even here, but if you have both prepare to have issues with production chains. In the end I think it's nice to have low tier skyscrapers in your city, they look nice, story is fun for a change, but overall it's not as fun as most other dlcs anno offers so I recommend going for others instead.

This season pass has no new region, bad stories (mostly), bad character design (mostly) and generally solid albeit not particularly interesting DLCs. I would stray away from these 3 and the season pass untill you own previous 2 seasons. Please get yourself Sunken Treasures, Arctic or Enbessa instead. And now that season 4 is released get yourself Empires of the Sky, best dlc of all time.
