Honestly, after 1k hours i can say that ''i loved the game'' but not anymore.At the beginning it was new, scary and figuring out new stuff was really fun.Base building, pvp everything that was in the game made it awesome, until they added the component system.It was at that time the game started going downhill with all the twig updates, the new crafting systems etc etc.And to completely ruin the game, they added the BP component system.Why is it bad?Because instead of a normal game where you sit, play and have fun, this game requires you to play 8 hours a day in a constant fear of someone jumping you from behind while just hitting a node.Farming all the scrap for level 3 workbench is pure cancer and at the end you just get bored of it.Games should be fun and skill should be rewarded.The first BP system and the XP system didn't have these problems, you just had to grind 1 day to get the level/bp's and then all you have to do is hit a bunch of trees/nodes and there you go, you are set up.I won't even mention the new TC update, not only do you have to play 8 hours a day, YOU HAVE TO LOG IN EVERYDAY in order for your base to not decay.Imagine the struggle on a 1 month wipe servers?And for everybody who hasn't play the game, don't buy it.It's too complicated at this point, unoptimized and you won't get any fun out of it since everyone is a tryharding because the game requires you in order to achieve something.
I would finish it off with ''hopefully they will fix it someday', but the way things are going with the dev blogs and their ideas for the future, it's just going to turn into ''The forest'' with a few guns put into it.Thank you for being an awesome game, ♥♥♥♥ you Helk for ruining it
