SO I bought the base game less than an hour ago. In that time I fell in love with the art style, the game taught me what offset really is and gave me a tool to help me set it which I've never been able to do before, and I full cleared several low level hard levels and I still want to replay them to improve my accuracy and level up. This game has scratched an itch I've been looking for in rhythm games. Its a very casual friendly game, and that doesn't mean that its easy. Rather it's very simple and easy to learn even for rhythm game beginners. It also doesn't require a long time of practice to feel like your doing well. Its a game with a low beginner skill level and a high skill ceiling. Its extremely inviting. I was a bit worried when people started saying the Just as planned dlc was essential. Its not that the base game is bad, I love this game already. It's not even that the base game lacks songs and unlockables. No everyone wants more of it. I know soon I will be forced to by the dlc because I will assuredly want more of this too.
