The scene opens with Rav sitting on the couch, switching between happy and sad moods. Alissa is walking around the room, clumsily knocking over various objects. Weston is lying on the floor, making weird noises while scrolling through his phone. Shawn is standing by the fireplace, flexing his muscles.

RAV: (sad) Why does life have to be so hard sometimes?

ALISSA: (clumsy) Sorry for breaking that vase!

WESTON: (meme voice) Omae wa mou shindeiru, Bazinga!

SHAWN: (confidently) Don't worry, I'll fix it. I'm the best at everything.

RAV: (happy) Hey, did you guys hear about the new Family Guy episode? It's hilarious!

ALISSA: (confused) Nǐ hǎo, what's going on?

WESTON: (bragging) At my private school, we have a gaming room with VR headsets and all the latest games.

SHAWN: (playing Warframe) Hang on, just need to finish this mission real quick.

RAV: (emphasizing) You know what's really funny? This one time, Stewie said...

Suddenly, Rav cuts himself off and starts meowing like a cat in the middle of his sentence.

ALISSA: (confused) What did you say?

WESTON: (hitting on Alissa) Hey beautiful, want to go on a date sometime? (chugs pepto bismol)

Shawn rolls his eyes and walks over to Alissa, trying to comfort her.

SHAWN: (sarcastically) Don't worry, I got you. I'm always here to help.

Suddenly, Weston starts acting like Patrick Bateman, putting on a fake British accent and pretending to be a serial killer.

WESTON: (in Patrick Bateman voice) Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke.

Everyone stares at him in confusion.

ALISSA: (worried) Dr. Pepper... (starts crying)

RAV: (happy) Hey, let's all take a selfie and use some emojis!

Everyone gathers around and takes a photo while Rav uses various emojis to caption it.

FADE OUT.

INGREDIENTS

Cure:
1.5 pounds chicken thigh
3 tbsp (32g) kosher
1.5 tsp (7g) msg
3/4 tsp (2g) sugar

The Dredge:
2 cups (295g) all purpose flour
2 tsp (7g) salt
1/2 tsp (2g) msg
1 Tbsp (11g) powdered sugar
2 tbsp (21g) garlic powder
2tsp (6g) sweet paprika
1/2 cup (10g) Dried porcini mushroom powder

Method:
1. For the cure, mix all ingredients in a small bowl.
2. Cut the chicken thighs into bite size pieces. Place on a tray or cutting board and generously season with the cure. Flip and repeat.
3. Place chicken into a plastic bag and fridge at least 30 minutes.
4. For the dredge, combine all-purpose flour, salt, msg, powdered sugar, garlic powder, sweet paprika, and porcini mushroom powder. Whisk together.
5. For the liquid portion of the breading station, whisk eggs in a medium bowl before adding whole milk while whisking.
6. Drop chicken into flour dredge, tossing until fully coated. Then egg mixture. Back into flour mixture. Rinse and repeat with remaining pieces and transfer to a parchment lined baking sheet.
7. In a medium pot filled with high heat oil, heat to 325F.
8. While oil preheats. To a small bowl, add in all ingredients and whisk to combine.
9. Once oil is at temperature. Drop chicken into oil and fry 3-5 minutes in batches.
10. Let cool on a wire rack set in a lined baking sheet.
