This movie reshaped my views on ideology, morality, and humanity as a whole. It made me rethink the meaning of war. It made me realize the futility of hatred. It made me love humanity again.

SOMA (2015)
This game made me completely rethink my views on religion, ethics, morality, the purpose of life, spiritualism, and the nature of reality. It may have directly given me a new mental illness or two. It also made me transhumanist.

Serial Experiments Lain (1998)
This show made me feel understood, and massively retooled my understanding of my own mind. It is immaculate in its audiovisual harmony of artistic vision and softspoken storytelling. It led me to realize how much love for existence I was missing. It also made me change my mind about transhumanism.

Real Genius (1985)
This movie is really, really smart and funny. There's not a year that goes by in which I don't realize one more reason this movie is relentlessly funny and true to life. If you've ever been the "smart kid," the "weird kid," a shut-in, or all three at once, this one will stick with you for a long time.

Wandersong (2018)
This game makes me purely, outstandingly happy on every level. I have an internal monologue that exclusively loops songs from this game's soundtrack all day.
