The Royal Recruits are the first and only Slovakian Banished Clan to win back championships in the Banished World Tournament in 2014 and 2015.

They are also lesser known for their work in pioneering the linebattle tactics found in today's Historical War games such as 'Holdfast', 'War of Rights', and 'Roblox'.

On the 14th of August in 2004 TRR was founded by a (and i'm not making this up) 'British Doctor of Karate Healing', and a corpsman/paramedic from New York. Playing the Half-Life 1 Mod Battlegrounds; TRR subjected untold numbers of hapless pubbies to well drilled volleys of 2-Rank Dutch musket fire in organized public linebattles. Players eager to recreate their dad's favorite scenes from the Sharpe tv show joined en mass and the clan spend much of the period between 2006 and 2014 with upwards of 20 active players at any given time. TRR also played the game as intended and got wrecked by groups like GoW in BGLs.

As linebattles grew in popularity and Battlegrounds 2 was released, leadership was passed to a group of dangerous Bird Team Fashion Terrorists. TRR subjected untold numbers of hapless pubbies to (and i'm not making this up) 80s new wave, and Italo Disco themed linebattles in Battlegrounds 2. With the source engine, TRR members were able to create realistic and dynamic battlefields that did not conform to basic human concepts such as the humble grid. TRR's greatest product is the well known 'trr_strangeways'. It is said if you listen closely, you can still hear the mournful wail of Morrissey belting out a Smiths song by the house near american spawn. TRR also played the game as intended and did their fair share of wrecking other clans in BGLs.

With a small stable of Mature players in the ranks; TRR dove headfirst into the wild world of Napoleonic Warband. TRR focused on organizing matches in gametypes that were a bit different than the objectively bad style of linebattle that the bigger, and younger (but not sexier) line battle clans liked to host. In the meantime, the small homie crew played a variety of Warband mods, Arma 1, 2, and 3, DayZ, Payday2, WoW private servers, AoE, Minecraft, Diablo 2, Total War, TTRPGs and Red Orchestra, and watched the sickest movies such as Hard Ticket to Hawaii.

By 2015 most everyone had grown up and found out that spending Saturday getting ♥♥♥♥♥ was probably better that being wasted by musketfire while a Kate Bush song plays.

Well its 2024 now and everyone is finding out that getting ♥♥♥♥♥ actually sucks WAY WORSE than getting wasted by musket fire while a Kate Bush song plays- because if your getting ♥♥♥♥♥ a then a Kate Bush song is definitely not playing (sad!) - and your homies are not there to hoot and hollar with you and call you gay while you die.
