Yes, I think that would most definitely help others. It may not help anyone at the moment, but eventually all of us will stumble upon an obstacle that we don't know how to get throught and the answer may lie in those help videos! I greenlight it, and can help with that if you need some.

I just realised; some of us aren't all acquainted to that kind of game actual lingo. Would it be a great idea to do post somewhere an annex or tutorial for each and every expressions typically related to 2D-RPG made out of sprite and turn based game? (I'm sure reading that comment I just painted myself with the infamous NOOB bulleyed target and holding a VERY large arrow pointing my at my head.)

@Great Aether!
You should go at this in the following order,so you don't mess up some stuff like continuity and difficulty:
-Create concept with basic ideas(should be done outside of rpgmaker)
-Create Database for what you need
-Create main map parts
-Expand on the existing with ideas you want to inplement
-Balancing and bugfixing
-Give to people to test
-Correct stuff they told you/implement ideas they said(optional)
-Publish
Hope this helps :fprose:

Hi guys I have a question to ask. It's not necessarily one on how to do "x" in RPG Maker. But more of a conceptual question. I am just now starting a new project that I have been planning for weeks as I have been learning how to use the software, and I'm having trouble picking a starting point. Should I start creating the levels and maps, the classes, skills and items of the world, or develop the narrative? Thanks for any help!

Everybody should definitely take a look at all the workshop items available for this software. You can find anything from user created tilesets to interesting scripts.

I dunno about user friendly; I just realised I went on well with past versions. (Might be trying up back on new again trying to show off and figuratively splatting nose to a wall.)

And just realisez my syntax and typo :P I should warn I<m French Quebecer.
