Reddit Blood Bowl League

Hello and welcome to everyone who's part of the Reddit Newbie Blood Bowl League! We hope you all have a lot of fun and learn a thing or two about the great game of blood bowl.

As with all larger blood bowl tournaments, there are certain rules and guidelines that must be followed to ensure everyone the league runs smoothly. These are as follows:

1. The day ends, or is "pushed," every SATURDAY at approximately 11 pm EST (or 4am GMT). At this point, the week's matches are no longer availible to play, and the next week's matches will be availible. Check the calendar under leagues - > calendar to see who you will be playing for the week. The first week will end on the 30th of March, 11pm est.

2. No shows: If a match is not played by the end of the week, it is up to the players to contact one of the administrators of the league and explain why. If neither contacts the admins, the game will be considered a 0-0 tie and neither player will get spp points. If, however, only a single player is absent and his opponent contacts the admins with proof that he has tried to communicate and set up a match, the match will be considered a 2-0 win for the player that did actually show up. This will earn the player 16 spp in total (6 from touchdowns, 10 from both mvp awards) although the allotment will be random.

3. ABSOLUTELY NO CHEATING of any kind (i.e. the "twelve man on the field" hack). If you have any evidence someone is cheating, contact one of the admins. Cheating will result in an immediate ban from the league.

4. NO DISCONNECTING OR LEAVING MATCHES unless it is for a good reason, and you tell your opponent why. If you have an emergency, you can leave, but please communicate your reason.

Now, here are my suggestions for having fun and being successful in the league!

1. Communicate with your opponent. Best way to do this is to either add them on steam (if possible), or simply send them mail in game. To do this, simply click COMMUNITY -> MAIL. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you check your mail box daily, because there is no notification for recieving a message.

2. Communicate with the league. There is a built-in chat in the game at the left of the screen, the default is set to the public chatroom. Click on the top bar and pan down to the Reddit Newbie League chat, and talk to everyone! Bloodbowl is much more fun when playing with people you know, and the chat is a great place to discuss matches, plan strategies, or just joke around.

3. Have fun.
