We are the peoples of the Principality of Oldenberg. We are a proud nation that looks to extend our borders both physically and through trade. As a Parlimentary Meritocracy, first and foremost, all positions are based purely on merit. If you excel in an area, and leadership takes notice, you are to be promoted. We also believe that all men should be given a representative. Parliment is made up of 1/5 of the population and each member of parliment has their own party. Parliment is the only position that is chosen democratically, that is to say by votes of the people. The Speaker and Deputy Speaker are the majority and minority party leaders in parliment respectively. Parliment positions are up for re-election on the 3rd of every month. If a citizen wishes to form a party and run for office, let any member of the Parliment Leadership know.
