New Mapper

Since Panic Attack couldn't work on the map any more, we needed a new mapper.

Luckily Zanzy, one of my friends, knew a guy who generously offered to lend his mapping skills to help make mvm_doubletake become a thing.

So kindly welcome Zone, the newest member and moderator of our little group.

Map updates will be made by him from now on. (Or me, whichever way. We'll have to see.

He said he's never really made a TF2 map before, much less MvM, but he's gonna see what all he can do to help until he goes to college in January.

Alright, so it's been two weeks or so since the last update. Panic Attack doesn't have the time he thought he would to work on the map, so we're gonna need another mapper to help finish this.

If you or anybody you know wants to help with this, then just go ahead and add me and we can talk maps.

Maybe he can do the models for the buildings, then you can put them in place. I was wanting to have one side styled after RED buildings, and the other one after BLU, sorta like 2fort. It'll help with aesthetics, knowing where you're at, and hopefully teamwork and coordination.

Thanks, you should probably talk with Zone about it. I'm not the one who's doing the mapping, and he said he's not too familiar with TF2 maps, much less MvM ones. Apparently he's more of a model/texture type of guy, and on top of that, he's only got until January until he has to go to college. Maybe you can pick up there where he leaves off, or maybe you two can work together on it. It's up to you, really. I'm not gonna ask you to do anything you don't want to.

I can help but only in small ways, I'm not pyschologically ready to take on another map. So if you have any questions about Hammer stuff feel free to ask me.

I've never had a group before, so I didn't know how to add mods. xD
Panic Attack IS a moderator now, so he'll be updatin. And he said that he's gonna work on that map for the SFM poster after he gets a bit more on the map.

Just a quick update, slightly modifed the layout and started fleshing out a bit for the buildings.

I'm working on a SFM picture for advertisement. I'll just use a generic map, but if you give me a decent stretch of map to work with, I could use that for the picture.
