Just get a vanilla copy of minecraft, preferably up to date, and put the 7zip's contents in your /.minecraft folder, merging and all.
Also, throw this into the mods folder: http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/greg.ewing/minecraft/mods/GregsLighting/GregsLighting-1.4-mc1.3.zip
I'll put it in the main mod folder when the time is better.
Rules:
No Greifing. stealing, nuking and such is only permitted during personal mutual warfar events far from spawn, which there are none right now.
Don't use your op powers for hax, I'm actually considering clearing out the op list to start fresh.

Check back frequently in announcements if you can't join, namely I might've updated/added a mod to the mix. There's also the issue of the server not being up all the time, sorry on that part too.
