"Lost Islands-PvPvE-Mature Players" is a US server. We believe in a strong gaming community that is mature. Our goal is to make the server as fun and challenging as possible while keeping it friendly to newcomers. We plan on having structured PvP on the weekends.

The first thing that you will notice, this isn't "Ark: Disneyland" like the official servers. This server is challenging, even for the veteran players. Wild dinos are now much more competitive! Tamed dinos have been reduced to be balanced against wild dinos! Your tamed dinos will need to be trained up a bit before taking on dinos above it's level...

One of the most important changes to this server, is that you can not tame flying dino's! This brings a whole new dynamic to base raiding and PvP! See below for a full list of dino's that are now untamable!

* Standard XP (The grind is real...)
* 3rd Person Disabled (For added emersion! If you want to see something, pop your head out!)
* Cross-hair Disabled (Removed the training wheels)
* Map Player Location Enabled (Who wants to spend hours trying to meet up with friends?)
* No Character/Dino Downloads (Self explanatory)
* No Cave Blockading (6x damage multiplier added to structures built in and around caves)
* No Base Leveling (Bust in, get what you want and leave)
* 4x Taming (Still takes a while to tame dinos, just not a full day!)
* 2.5x Harvesting (Build structures faster!)
* 2x Structure Integrity (Stronger structures)
* 1.0 Difficulty Offset (Max level 120 for Wild Dinos)
* Water and food drain reduced by 3/4! (There is no need to eat 30 steaks in one day anymore...)
* 2x Day/Night Cycles (For added emmersion! You will now want to have a torch or flashlight!)
* Wild dinos reduced by 1/2! (Way to many dino's roaming around on vanilla servers...)
* MatingIntervalMultiplier=0.5 (It takes half the time for mating now!)
* EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=20.0 (Eggs hatch 20x faster!)
* BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=20.0 (Babies mature 20x faster!)
* GlobalSpoilingTimeMultiplier=3 (Food takes 3x longer)
* GlobalItemDecompositionTimeMultiplier=10 (Dropped items last 10x longer on the ground!)
* GlobalCorpseDecompositionTimeMultiplier=100 (You now have a whole day to retrieve your corpse!)

* List of untamable dinos: Giganotosaurus, T-Rex, Carno, Spino, Sarco, Scorpion, Megalodon, Plesiosaur, Pteranodon, Argent and Quetz

Note: We encourage no more than 5-10 tribe members. This will help maintain a more balanced PvP environment. We did a lot of testing to figure out the best settings for the server to make it challenging, yet fun at the same time!

"Lost Islands-PvPvE-Mature Players" is a US server. We believe in a strong gaming community that is mature. Our goal is to make the server as fun and challenging as possible while keeping it friendly to newcomers. We plan on having structured PvP on the weekends.

* Optimized the physics & networking of dropped items for better server performance

* Fixed WaterTaps not refilling containers (requires server update)
* Fixed Dino Poops not appearing.... Dino Laxative! (requires server update)

* Fixed Dino Poop to smoothly fall from Dinos on clients, rather than 'teleporting' to the ground.

* Fixed client-side streaming crash that people were getting (disable threaded GC) -- darn threaded GC had rare issue, will further investigate.

* Industrial Forges can now craft up to 20 items of a type at once, however they can not be placed on Dino Platforms anymore.
* Garbage Collector improvement to reduce game stalls/hitches (GC no longer forces an async flush which would result in a stall if any streaming operation was occuring).
* Mods are now only installed/extracted while at the main menu, to avoid lowering in-game performance
* Fixed a protential case where players could be disconnected due to exploding Rocket Launcher projectiles
* Chief Hat & Turkey Mask now appear properly on Dinos
* Doubled Rocket Damage Globally, and also against Dinos by an extra 100%
* Exposed Custom Recipe Cooking Quality and Skill Scalars for Server Configuration. Increased Default Cooking Quality and Skill Scaling by a further 20% each.

Unversioned Hotfix: Fixed a crash associated with updating Total Conversions on startup.
* Proning and Crouching now reduce Enemy Dino Visibility Range by 40% and and 20% respectively (stacks with Ghillie Suit... stealth kill time ;)
* Changed anti-stuck logic to not affect players, only Dinos. Was causing super-velocity and killing some players during re-connection.

Unversioned Hotfix: Fixed a way that server or singleplayer game loading could crash if someone had placed Structures on a Dino from a mod that was uninstalled.

- ~15% client-side CPU optimization: Added New Option Menu checkbox "Use Simple Distance Movement" , set it for less quality movement on distant creatures but significant CPU savings.
