I was just keeping this group open to save the name for later use.

The story of the Hearse

I was involved with a Haunted House some friends and family put on every year. It started as a yard haunt and grew until we had the police dept sponsor us and we had an area to setup at the park in town. One year I told some of my car buddies I was looking for a hearse. I thought it would take some months to find 5 days later I was going to look at this car. The lady that had it was one of those hoarders and she had some crazy ♥♥♥♥. We had to dig the car out. Flat tires dead battery. But it came with a coffin so I bought it. We stuck a battery in and aired up the tires. It started and I drove to my shop running on 7 cylinders. I found a used cad 500 engine and stuck it in as well as fixed several things to make road worthy. The car was a green repaint. One good power wash and it was back to the original blue. It was a party wagon for St Patric's day for a radio station once Hence the green paint. I figured that out there was once stenciling on the sides I could barely make out.I did some minor body work and painted it flat black and added the spider webs. I have used it in the Haunted House and its been in the 4th of July parade every year since I have owned it. I put an old school siren and a wolf whistle on for more fun. My son rides with me in the parade and we have several squirt guns we spray the crowd with. We some times have Zombie walkers with us handing out candy. I also take it to car shows. It has won 2 trophies. I rigged the coffin to blow compressed air on your hand if you try to open the lid. It is great fun daring people to open it. I have had several Hot Rods all fixed up that go to car shows and even done some drag racing but I have more fun with this car than any other.
