Bringing INS1 maps to INS2 ASAP

Here is where you can stay up to date and involved with the process of porting over the old INS1 maps to INS2.

There are a couple of people porting maps currently. The ones I know of are

Dude is working on a total conversion of Karam with all mod content removed. He has been working on it hard-core for weeks and there are some screenshots in his profile.

MillZ has taken over on Almaden and has already done big things with the map, especially when it comes to performance and stability.

Both of these guys have been made moderators here so they can send announcements on releases and more!

If you are porting a map from INS1 to Insurgency, let me know and I'll help you let everyone else know!

A quick update of Baghdad! (hotfix)

I was made aware by Slade that some windows where blocking shots from both side and decided to do a quick update that would fix it and add some of features I'm currently working on.

** New **

Added new textures and models to improve on the map environment.
Added effects to lamps and brightened up areas in the house across from gas station.
Added soundscape to map (Basic indoor/outdoor sounds).
Added glass to some of the windows.

** Fixes **

Fixed door height in building near "Charlie"
Fixed windows in building near "Charlie"

These fixes will also come to the push version as soon as I have time.

New version of Baghad (version a2)

Particle effects - This should give the map a little more life.

** Fixes **

New lighting - the map should be a lot brighter now.
Flickering decals - Some textures had improper settings and would "flicker". This should be fixed now.
