Let's Play DOOM Multiplayer!

This is the unofficial group for DOOM (2016) multiplayer! This group is designed as a hub for players to reach out to other players who want to play DOOM multiplayer and/or share their experience with the new DOOM game.

You are able to:
• Create Events to promote your own multiplayer gaming sessions
• Promote your own SnapMap maps
• Post anything DOOM related (new or old)

DOOM Update #2 Live Today!

Update #2 is live today for DOOM which includes 2 NEW multiplayer modes! The update includes the following:

- Multiplayer Mode: Sector. This looks like an iteration of Warpath, but the point does not move constantly. Seems more of a King of the Hill mode.

- Multiplayer Mode: Exodus (or CTF). Good old classic capture the flag finally makes it’s way! ;)

- SnapMap Hell Modules: You are now able to craft your own hell levels with SnapMap!

- SnapMap Jump Pads: Pretty self explanatory… but awesome! :)

ALSO! This weekend is “Double XP Weekend”, meaning you gain double multiplayer experience points if you play this weekend starting today (July 29) thru Sunday (July 31)!

Classic DOOM Weapon Placement/View In Next Update!

The next update will feature an option so you can have your weapon model display in the lower middle of the screen like classic DOOM and some other features/fixes including:

Added Photo Mode for taking in-game screenshots
Added new Snapmap features (including skybox windows) and AI pathing and logic fixes.
Fixed various bugs including players accidentally triggering Dev Mode and Trophy/Achievement bugs (IDKFA, Every Nook and Cranny).

Also, an update that contains some multiplayer balancing has been released today.

I've found a few fellow Doom 3 (BFG Edition) players, but unfortunately I'm working abroad in a part of the world with some of the world's worst internet. I could get pretty solid pings in online games a few months ago, but my connection speed has been crappy since mid-March. So unfortunately, I can't really get anything out of Doom 3 (or any other game) online until I get out of this place or the connection inexplicably improves.

The beta had me on edge about the new DOOM game, but after seeing SnapMap alone I'm already sold! The campaign looks fun and different and I can't wait to try that, but I'm debating on the MP of the game. I'm just hoping they don't ♥♥♥♥ up Clan Arena.
