Merchant to Hell Challenge(MHC)

this is where at the beggening of day you find any NPC you want and mine them all the way to hell before night falls upon your world and the NPC is teleported back home.
For extra points protect the merchant through hell until night.
Post down below how many times it took you to mine an NPC to hell and/or if the NPC was protected through night.
i did this 3 times
1st try: it took to many trimes to count to get my merchant to hell
when he finally got there i demon got to him
2nd try:did it first time
killed the NPC myself
3rd try: got the merchant to hell 1st try and protected him throughout night.
