PLAYING WITH PURPOSE

With every hour spent on your gaming rig, there is one hour of lost opportunity to improve yourself. The objective is to find like-minded individuals who take solace in the delusion that playing strategic and cognitively demanding games is a step, though negligible,towards improvement instead of learning some social skills under the much dreaded sun. But who the heck knows? We might not be deluded in the slightest.


RULES, RIGHTS, AND REGULATIONS

1. PLAYTIME

The well known secret to a successful group is its member participation. We need regularly active members who will continually add to the depth and reach of the community. For this community in its nascent stage, all members would be welcomed in the hopeful assumption that they will stay active and interactive. Members will be categorized by importance with their level of participation in the offing. We reserve the right to let go anyone who does not have at least 10 hours/week online or one post a week whether it be in forums, submitted artwork or notifications. As for the time being, those rules are relaxed.

2. TEAM INCLUSIVITY

We need members to avoid forming cliques and make sure to treat others as they would like to be. Spur interesting discussion, argue, prove a point, rebute a point, spark an idea; all in a respectable and considerate manner. It is important to keep as non-toxic a community as possible that would have members coming back even without a gaming incentive.

3. SPEAK OUT

This is not an authoritarian led group. It would be shaped and expressed by the inspiration of its members. So, if there is anything the members feel might add to the demand factor of the group, be it the range of games associated, page design, policy, or even the group name; we would gladly put into consideration and possibly poll before it is put into effect. We need as much ideas as possible and it would take a concerted effort to make this a well-sought group.
