ABOUT The Lower, The Better

Low Lerps

This group was made to tell other people about lowers lerps that my friend luck and I have found to be the lowest lerps in the game that take away a great amount of delay compared to other lerps. One lerp is 1.$, another lerp is -0.0, and the third lerp is -1.$ (which occurs rarely). How to obtain the lerps are listed below, and some things they can do is also listed.

cl_updaterate 0
Output on net graph will be 1.$.

cl_updaterate -1000000000000000000000000000000000000000
cl_interp 0
Output on net graph will be -0.0.

cl_interp 0
cl_interp_ratio 0
cl_updaterate 0
Output on net graph will be -1.$. (Occurs on Hell)
Or, you may use them and get either -0.0 or 1.$, and it will change depending on the server.

cl_updaterate -0
cl_interp -0
Output on net graph will be -1.$ as well. (Occurs on Intox)
Or, you can use this as another way to get -0.0, which is what you will usually be getting.

Now, if you didn't like these lerps and wanted to revert back to default lerp, or 0 lerp.
cl_updaterate 10000000000
cl_interp 0.1 (100 lerp)
cl_interp -0 (0 lerp)

Neutral possibilities:
-0.0, 1.$, and -1.$, all have a possibility of physically not doing anything, this has rarely happened considering all the different things they do to achieve lower delay for your experience. If this does happen, then you can use 0.0,
-0.0, 1.$, or -1.$, it wouldn't really matter, but 0.0 and -0.0 would be more recommended.

Negative possibilities:
-0.0, 1.$, and -1.$, can all possibly increase your ping, as well as hurt your visuals, in this case it's obviously better just to use 0.0, it can increase by a little, to maybe even in great numbers, but this will, as well rarely happens, but can on a few servers, but not all servers.
Now, regarding possibility, I would also like to add that even though it does increase your ping, it will also effect you the way it'd effect that ping. BUT, the delay you receive will be the same delay you'll receive using 0.0 or any other of these lerps.

1.$ and -1.$ both remove some visual effects from your gameplay such as player leg movement, (people appear to be standing still while moving), and particles trails will be broken (it will look like you're lagging when you're not).

Positive possibilities:
-0.0, 1.$, and -1.$, all of them have a slim possibility of removing all current delay, regardless of ping, very commonly you will use either -0.0 and 1.$ except for the rare occasions of -1.$. Depending on your ping in the server is how much the lerps effect you, (the lower it is, the less they effect you, and vice versa). You should also be able to notice that either -0.0 or 1.$ is lower than the other, except for sometimes they're equal, then I recommend -0.0.

Now, remember, every server you go to is different and will cause the lerps to react in different ways, do not expect to use the same lerp everywhere you go.

Also, if there is skipping with the lerp(s), cap your FPS at 100 with fps_max or at 60.
