February 1, our ARK gaming communities will be returning. If there are any mods that you are interested in having on the servers, please let us know before launch day. WE will take a look at them and add in if we can.

ALSO, looking for input into the xp, tame, breed progression. Previously we have ran both 3x and 5x. 5x was a bit slow with the breeding and taming mechanics and we nudged that ahead to 8x. Your input will help shape this gaming community.

I just had a chance to chat with one of the game devs regarding the timed events not starting (chinook, ship, drops, etc.). This started after we added the ability to vote to skip night in game.

In speaking with the dev, I was reminded that this particular plugin has always been an issue because time in RUST is essentially a 24h loop, not linear time (always moving forward). As such when a vote to skip night happens the game clock "resets" back to 08:00 and the game thinks that time didn't happen.

Timed Events rely on an interval of time before they will start and this is basically screwed up by the vote to skip night. I sent a message to the plugin developer to see if there is a way to code/create a new version of the plugin that wouldn't stop timed events from happening on schedule.

Decay is fixed so we have turned the mechanic back on at 25% to test it out. The materials shown in the cabinet should maintain a base for 4 days (not just 24H). Please let us know if there are any glitches.
