Ark Side of the Moon PVP

Greetings,
So as some of you know, an error occured when updating our server. One of the mods we were using, Taming Buddies, no longer exists, so it lead everyone into a mod map error when trying to load into the server. Alright, no problem, we'll just remove it. The mod was stackable.

After removing the mod files, the server CPU no longer responded. Kornbread got in contact with our host and asked what the deal was. Our options were as follows: validate the steam files, or wipe the server. Something went wrong with our save files. He tried option 1. Nothing. We tried reinstalling the mods. Nothing. We tried rolling back to prior saves. Nothing. Once all of our options had been extinguished, we only had one choice left, and that choice was to wipe the server.

It's never in my best interest to wipe a server. Several players have put in several hours of work, and wiping it makes the work meaningless; however, when you're put into a position where no other options are working, it's the only choice you have. I do apologize to everyone for what happened, and I hope this doesn't happen again. However, a bit of good news:

• Gather=x5
  
• Experience=x5
  
• Tame=x5 (this is unchanged, just a reminder)
  
• Mature Speed=20
  
• Egg Laying Rate=0.5 (the egg drop will be slower from how we had it before, at 0.25, but this is an adjustment for a new mod we added)

• Glow Bugs. It was originally added because I asked Kornbread if we could add it. Everyone else seemed to like it, so it was alright. However, the mod file size was rather large, so we removed it to make room for a couple other mods.
  
• Pet Finder. The mod wasn't working half the time for some unknown reason, primarily when anybody was in the redwoods. We may revisit this mod in the future, if the community demands it.
  
• Taming Buddies. Because it no longer exists.
  
• Natural Babies. There were many, many issues with it.

• Classic Flyers. While it wasn't in our best interest to add it, several other servers DID have it, so we really don't have much of a choice.
  
• Kibble Matrix. A few players asked about a possible kibble mod, and this one was the best option. While some players think that egg farms are part of the game, they really shouldn't be. You'll still have to have a partial egg farm for imprinting kibbles since these kibbles do not qualify for imprinting, but the size of a modest egg farm beats having an entire Taj Mahal dedicated to dino butts. This also helps server performance, something we all enjoy.
