RUST INFO AND WIPE SCHEDULE
The server is updated with forced wipes only. This will be a map change and wipe on the first Thursday of the month. BP's wipe when Facepunch wipe them. We don't wipe BP's.

There is no fixed time for the update. Usually around 18:00 to 20:00 GMT. But keep in mind it could be at anytime, previously the updates have been between 17:00 and 02:00.

Anyone telling you it's a bp wipe when there has been nothing posted by any staff at Facepunch is a complete idiot. There is no schedule for forced BP wipes. They only happen when Facepunch deems it necessary. The last BP wipe was announced two weeks in advance for the 7th June. We waited 26 hours for a very late update

Every forced wipe you will need to update your client before you can connect to server. Every update is posted in #announcements

CONNECTIONS AND SERVER INFO
To connect to server. While in game type F1 to bring up the console and type client.connect 51.89.163.93:28015

Steam Information about server.
while in game,use shift and tab to bring up the steam overlay
click on view players to see whose on server.
Also while in Steam, top left click on view, servers, history,
then left click on server to highlight it, right click on server
then left click on server info.
You will see all connected to server including those joining.
You can also see your ping.

Hi, I'm @Jam . After many bad experiences on various community servers I decided to create my own server with default settings (now tweaked by the community) with the odd perk to all and without interference to anyones gaming experience, except the last week of wipe where I might spawn in heli for all to fight and I may test out some other ideas on the server.
I'm a mature active admin who is approachable and friendly but first and foremost I am a survivor in Rust.
I will not come and remove your walls because you made a building error, live with your mistakes and learn from them. I will not rescue you from a cave so go exploring at your own risk.
I do not raid, I have no interest in your loot, I have survived on officials and I'm now enjoying the chilled atmosphere here.

ADMINS ROUGH SCHEDULE
Week 1 - Noob area built - helping brand new players.
Week 2 - TCC HQ built - helping most to build better.
Week 3 - Raiding season is open and possible pvp fest.
Week 4 - Open to #suggestions for a community project.
Week 5 - If it is a 5 week wipe then this last week is a special week when admin can help by providing resources (wood and stone) for some to build in an area so you can practice building a better base or currently come and play with the electric components.

Wipe Day - No rules and you can blow everything up.

TUNA CAN CLUB SERVER INFO
Admins spend a lot of time on twig foundation answering questions and trying to keep the salt levels low.

TCC Survivors have spent time on server and have been raided and griefed and still came back to help the community or helped out behind the scenes. Some have clocked many hours here, been screwed over here, done stupid stuff here. Some don't have the best knowledge of the game but they understand sportsmanship.

The TCC buildings (server builds) are usually the noob area and TCC HQ. Do not raid these, they are there for the whole community to use, these have signs and shops and are marked on the map. Currently these are built by the admins when they have time and resources to do so.

The Server gives out information when the heli is patrolling and when a cargo plane will make an airdrop as well as other helpful information. The server is updated with forced wipes only, this will be a map change and wipe on the first Thursday of the month. BP's wipe when Facepunch wipe them when implementing major updates.

Newmans (noobs and new players to server).
The noob play area is where you can learn the basics. It is marked on the map with a shop selling metal tools,research these as soon as you can. Watch out for animals and radiation, a machete and wood armor can give you a great start to the game. Watch out for hostiles, the scientists(blue suits) and the bandits(black gear).
The heli, CH47 and Bradley will shoot at you if you are not careful.
Don't be afraid to ask for help and advice.

Freshspawns (nakeds arriving on spawn beach).
You will always spawn along a beach in a temperate biome with the lowest tier monuments along an entire side of the map. It is best to move inland and away from the freshspawn area so your base isn't as easy to find. If you choose to base on spawn beach there will be no placing of auto turrets to kill freshspawns.(edited)

WARNING - RULE BREAKERS
Randoms.
Although there is a no raid policy for the first two weeks to help new players to the server and playing Rust, there is still the chance of randoms on server especially overnight. They may not follow or abide by these rules and they might find a flamethrower and have fun burning your base , so please upgrade to a stone base with sheet metal door as a minimum requirement. Thank you.

Streamers.
In our experience the only peeps streaming are those needing good content, and good content is generally those that don't have any sense of sportsmanship and will offline raid your base for their own entertainment on this low pop server cos they are rubbish at the game and can only look good by picking on newmans.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Q. When is wipe?
A. The first Thursday of every month.

Q. How long does night last?
A. 15 minutes. Each Rust day is a full hour IRL.

Q. How do I remove a door?
A. First you must remove the lock then open the door.

Q. How do I move things?
A. Most deployables can be picked up or rotated with a hammer in your hand.

Q. How do I fix items?
A. While holding your hammer you can fix items if you have the resources and parts in your inventory that were used to make the items.

Q. How do I add a guest code?
A. First put in the main code, once you unlock the lock, the guest code can now be selected. Remember to lock the codelock when finished. Red is locked, green is unlocked.

Q. How do I gift a bag to someone?
A. You simply make a bag and place it, then select the option to give to a friend. You will be able to gift a bag to any of your steam friends and anyone who has a body on the server.

Q. How long before my body despawns?
A. You have about 15 minutes to get back to where you died. After about 5 minutes your body will despawn and your loot will turn into a camo backpack which may be harder to find. The item you had in your hand would have been dropped on your death. An AK will take an hour to despawn on the ground.

HELPFUL TIPS
Number one rule ALWAYS LOCK YOUR TC, never let anyone auth on your tc and don't let anyone into your loot room.
Codelocks, red is locked, green is unlocked.
Make sure everyone in base has auth on tc if placing shotgun traps and flame turrets - auto turrets must be authed on individually. Never leave your auto turret off, someone can clear auth and turn it against you.
Your best weapon will be on your back for all to see when not in hand, if you run around on server with a rocket launcher on your back then you are fair game.
When running around in base with a torch or flashlight it can be seen outside base.
Use a proper airlock system so raiders can't just walk in.
Use a campfire by your front door and more than 50% comfort and you have a doorcamper.
Locks on boxes delay raiders.
Have no open or twig roof. Watch out for peeps twigging up and using ladders.
Traps outside attract unwanted attention.

RAIDING AND GRIEFING
TWIG IS NOT A BASE, everyone shoots twig for fun.
It's not raiding if it's open to all, it's free loot.
It's not griefing if you trusted them, NO TRUST IN RUST.
If it's friendly fire between friends or a group then admin will not get involved.
Being door camped - call out in chat, players wanting pvp action and practice may come and assist.

Hint Hint.
If you keep being salty in chat then watch your back.
If you build too big your base can easily be seen from a greater distance, if you build on a mountain or hill it can be seen from even further away.
Building on the road and next to monuments will make your base a bigger target.
Placing turrets and traps on the outside of your base will annoy people and will make you a target for raiding.
Raid multiple bases at your own risk cos you might be the target next wipe.
Man up and put a piccy on Discord when you offline raid - kill or no kill but take responsibility for your actions.
After the first two weeks rust paranoia will be a thing, sometimes mistakes are made lol(edited)

We promote openness and helping noobs (don't take everything that noobs own, you don't need to take a solo's WB3, you don't need to destroy all the contents in someone's base, or wipe out their foundations) but if there is some personal grievance then go ahead and enjoy it and please brag about it cos we like to have our popcorn ready :)

Those that offline raid, confess to your sins, whether on server, on discord or if you offline multiple bases then yes we expect a piccy in #gallery . Yes some players do rage quit but some players genuinely want feedback on their base designs on how easy/hard it was to raid, if they can make improvements, were the traps easy/hard to drain.

Yes noobs are encouraged to do a raid if they have not done a raid yet, how can they build a base to delay a raider when they don't know what raiding is. Maybe that small crouch jump area will kill them cos it's a small confined space and they only brought rockets. They need to learn how to not kill themselves or their teammates.(edited)
