Founded in 697 by Orso Ipato, the Venitian People are Known for their Artists, Engineering, Maritime Power, and of course of Gorgeous Canals

The Most Powerful Body in the Government is the Signoria, which is made up of the Doge, The Head of State of the Empire, the Minor Council, Consisting of 6 Councilors, who are one of the legislative bodies, and the Quarantia, which is the main judicial body of the Republic. Each Doge Serves for 3 weeks, and can be re-elected an unlimited number of times. The Quarantina has the power to iniciate the process impeachment of a doge, if he violates any of his powers. To impeach the doge, there must be conclusive evidence he violated the consitution, it takes a unanimous vote of the Quarantina and a 5/6ths vote of the minor council, aswell as a majority vote of the Major council
The Doge cannot declare war (unless defensive), iniciate alliances, or embargos, without the consent of the various bodies of government. the Major Coucil is a second legislative body. All Bodies are Elected, other than the 1st government, which is appointed by the doge, and lasts until either dismissed by the doge, or three weeks time has elapsed
