For too long Värmland has been engulfed by a power struggle. No more! I, the legitimate Kung, am coming to seize my throne back. I trust that the noble people of Värmland will rise up and support me, and out this tyrant who calls himself Oskar I! He is no brother of mine, only a peasant who has gained power through his bandit accomplices. Who bears no relation to the Royal Family and he shall hang by the gibbet!

The I Värmlänska Army will attack Northern Sweden, the II Värmlänska Army will attack Central Sweden, the III Värmlänska Army will attack the South.

People of Värmland!

Now comes the hour when your strength and courage is tested! Today we have officially declared rebellion against our hated enemy, the Swedish government! It is sad that we have come to this, a Swedish civil war, where we shall have to slay our brothers and sisters, but alas, no other options nor alternatives can be guaranteed for us. The dictatorial government our country is now governed by will pay no heed to our petitions and so we must resort to cohesive and coherent use of the bayonet, the musket, and the cannon!

Men of Värmland, pick up the sword and the musket! To arms! It is time to defend our people, our nation, your families, your homes, your integrity! It is time to fight with valour and courage! It is time to decide our future and the future of your children! Future generations will come and look upon awe at their ancestors, commemorating annually our great victory against grave odds! Songs will be sung at our memory and even the unsung heroes will be remembered through statues, poems and dinner time sagas. It is time to relive our glorious past, and fight as the Vikings did! May the spirit of Eric the Victorious be your mentor!


On to victory!

The people of Värmland are weary. They long for the old days. They long for the old days. The days when they were at liberty. The days when they were respected and held a position of international awe within the community that even Prussia would have envied. That is all gone now. But now, from this solitude and resentment, can we perhaps turn it into rage and confidence? Can we turn back the tables on our oppressors and rise as a free people again?

That is up to the people of Värmland to decide. But, I will act as a leader should, with authority, with logic, with confidence. I am willing to go the extra mile to make us great, to make us prosperous. I, as Kejsare of this mighty empire, say we should rise again to glory, and take back what was ours!
