Hate it when that happens. Don't you?

Well, here we are: to a post I never thought I'd have to make. Pretty much I'm here to sum up why people still have yet to recieve their items from the Summer Stream. Instead of going through every detail of why the items aren't here, I'll just sum it up in a short story

A while ago, when I started the stream, I made an event on Child's Play's website. To do so, you have to login with a social media account. My account of choice was Twitter. Fast forward to after the stream happened and I was getting ready to distribute the first wave of items, and my Twitter got hacked. I freaked out for a few hours and ultimately decided to delete my Twitter account and start fresh. This is where my mistake lies. Due to this, I cannot login to my Child's Play event page and view who donated, how much, or who they wanted their item signed/crafted by. Due to this (and my skeptisizm towards strangers on the internet and their trustworthiness), I was not quite sure what to do, and didn't want to just say "hey if this is yours come get it". I have e-mailed Child's Play twice, and for some reason they have yet to e-mail me back on the situation.

Pretty much what it all comes down to is this:
I have a few of the items people wanted. I cannot afford to get every single item for donators (at this current time). As a result of this and my overwhelming amount of guilt towards this whole situation, there will be three things I will be doing sometime in 2017 (probably around the Summer) to make up for donors not being able to recieve their items.

1. There will be no Super Summer Stream 2017. I feel way too guilty about the last one, and many many mistakes were made. Also after this post I have a feeling people won't really respect the name anymore :P

2. There will be a large giveaway to anyone in this steam group. I am not sure what will be given away, but it will be open to every person who is in the steam group. It should be fairly large, and anyone who enters should have a decent chance of winning something.

3. Anybody who provides proof that they donated the amount required to recieve an item will recieve a TF2 item of value (probably a key or something, I'm not sure yet) and a heartfelt apology from me.

I am severely sorry to all of those who I have made upset by this issue, but I thank you all for donating to the cause of helping children play.

The Super Summer Stream will return.... eventually.

TL;DR Donut messed up and now there's no items for donors. It's ok though because in 2017 he is going to try his best to make it up to you.

My steam trades are broken at the moment and youtubers are very busy so it is hard to get items signed. Please continue to be patient. :)

In 2015, a kid by the name of DonuTF2 with 200 subscribers on YouTube had a goal to get some youtubers together, and raise money for charity. Although that didn't go so well, they all still had fun. But in 2016, thanks to the help of countless people- the TF2 community raised just under $1400! Honestly, this is a dream come true. Thank you to all of you. All the participants, chat moderators, viewers, memers, and hashtaggers for making the TF2 Super Summer Stream what I always wanted it to be.
