SteamAuction is a community built site where users can bid on free games with free virtual coins or they can put their games up for auction so they can then gain the winnings to use to bid on auctions themselves!

We are community built, that means we built this site with all the feedback and ideas that the community give us, this is to make sure that we give them the best experience.

Hello everyone,

This is a bit late to talk about the reasons why SteamAuction went down and we have seen the negative comments left on SteamTrade and SteamGift forums and are sadden to see them. We are deeply sorry about cancelling SA but we had to due to legal reasons that we could not ignore or get around. We would like to say thank you to all members who helped us out, donated and leaving feedback towards the project.
We are in talks of a new website idea to do with Steam that is unique, if you are interested in helping towards this, please contact Leonard. This project is non eCommerce etc, we do not want to make money from you, we want a community built site like we did with SA, but with SA, we needed finance and legal help before we could start it, which we didn't.

Once again, we are so sorry for this and it has been a great experience which we hope we will do again soon.

As I stated, we are greatly thank you for the donations members gave to us, the donations were spent towards the project on hosting etc. We are in talks about a new website that hsa to do with Steam but we are just thinking of ideas, if anyone has any ideas that haven't been taken then please contact me. Thank you again guys.
