Hi there! It's been a while. As you probably know, Urist hasn't been doing a whole lot for the last year. Long story short, we mostly died, and moved to hosting from time to time when there was interest.

However, this is changing. Over the last little while, I've been working on a new map and a ton of new features for it, including an entirely new cargo and trading system. I've also got a lot planned for it, including a shipcombat system, among other things. We've been hosting tests regularly over the last couple weeks, and we'll be hosting Urist all weekend with the new map. The hope is to return to hosting full-time once the map is well-tested and balanced.

If you played on Urist in the past, now is the time to return. There's a ton of cool new stuff, and more to come. Come check it out!

Hey folks! There's been a big update today, which includes the medbay remap, the toxins remap and the planet outpost remap. Along with that comes a big update for assault, which allows assault to take place on the planet's surface. The first test of this new feature is tonight at 8PM EST, so hop on the server for some good times and die gloriously fighting the lactera!

For various reasons, it's being bumped to the 20th. Same time likely. We will also have an assault test beforehand, which will feature the first iteration of jungle assault. Get ready for space nam folks!
