Why can't Sonic and Amy be together?
Sonic's creator even said so.
He said that it'll mean the end for the series.
But I still write on.
I still draw on.
I still imagine them together...
...but it just doesn't help.
I cry for Amy, in my soul
I am almost at tears, the fact that I am searching for love like her, fighting an empty lonliness.
But I still believe
I beleive that they can and are an item.
My parents think that I am wasting my time, and are saddened that I am wasting my time on stories that I can't publish. They aren't bad, but sometimes I just don't think they appriciate my work.
Maybe they have never felt this way for something imaginary before.
Something that another person made up.
This Is my cry, my cry to the man in another country.
A cry that he will never hear.
I will fight for their love.
I try to think it's okay, think that Sonic really does love Amy on the inside.
And I beleive this, but sometimes I am filled with sadness whenever I see them togethe
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But its home to me and I walk alone
I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
When the city sleeps
And I'm the only one and I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk alone
I walk a...
My shadow's only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
Til then I walk alone
