I took several seven minute videos of the gig, mainly of my old favourites such as Brainstorm and Spirit of the Age.
Anyway, I wanted to see them a couple of years ago but the lock downs meant the tour had to be cancelled. I finally saw them at Manchester's Academy on the 4th April this year (2024). It was a great concert, but too be honest, I was more impressed with the support band Solstice.
Dave Brock, the only original member left, who is into his 80's, ended up sitting down at the edge of the stage regularly, leaving the rest of the four piece band to take the reigns. The lead guitarist never smiled once and made several negative comments about the old guys in the band. In fact he looked positively grouchy most of the time. Whether this was just friendly banter I couldn't figure.
