The True North strong as Sharks!

Great White Gaming is based out of Grande Prairie, Alberta, created originally to just help bring together and organize events and tournaments in the local areas, and for people to use it as a hub to meet people with a fellow love for gaming and make their own connections.

Originally we were focusing on local tournaments weith games likle Mario Kart, Halo 2, Smash bros, NHL, and so on. But because we have people from all over Canada as part of the page and even people from all over the world, we decided to put together a steam group so that we could do more online gaming with people all over the place, as well as include some awesome PC gaming to our events!

Feel free to stop by the Facebook page to look into other events we're doing, particularly as one of the admins is starting to organize online events for certain console games, and for people within Canada, there are super sweet give aways that are always happening (sorry people around the world, we can't quite afford to send prizes around the world yet!)

Okay, so I started this group, and immediately got overly busy and left this to gather dust, but now I'm back to get this started! I'm going to get started on making GWG servers for various games (only a few at first, hopefully more as time goes on, and I just wanetd to get some community opinions on games to make servers for! So far the main ones I have in mind are counter strike, TF2, and Don't starve together (if I can). These are atleadt the only games within my own library that I know I can make dedicated servers for, but I am also willing to get new games to play!
So please post any ideas and opinions for games that I could makes servers for, and I will do my best to accomadate all possible games! I look forward to hearing from you all!

Hello everyone! I'm Canadian Bear, an admin for the GWG Facebook page and creator of the steam group page! I am super stoked to have created this page and gaming with everyone!
I am going to do my best to keep this group updated and get a good stream of events going, Unfortunately I am the only admin with steam (or just with a good enough computer to do anything on steam), and I am also on my way to having two jobs on top of helping with the GWG's local events, so I may not be able to do as much on here as I like, so please feel free to input ideas for the group and suggestions for tournaments! I also may not have all the games everyone has, but I will do what I can to make it happen!
