After the fall of the Empire, the Imperial Remnant was on the back burner. The New Republic begun it's campaign to eradicate the last of the Imperial menace. Ten years after the second death stars destruction the Empire still holds onto to Tatooine. A blockade sits in the orbit of the planet, only allowing some to come in and out. The oppressive nature of this often times weighs heavy on the citizens of the planet, the heat not helping.
