1st CB game for L4d, and as such didnt really know what to expect so it was useful to see how the game could be played. We definately got a lesson, and hopefully some ideas!

The scores for the 1st 2 maps was pretty close (only about 350pts in it), but when we started the 3rd map my pc got the sound loop bug, crashing both my game and pc. By the time i was back in the fight we'd lost 3 medikits, a huge amount of ammo, got stuck with a bot player, and ultimately hadnt got very far. They captilised on this taking the map win by well over 1200pts. Moral wasnt so good now :( Next map we almost managed to 3 survivors to safety, but had to settle with 2 lol. This was the map they really impressed on us their knowledge of the game, and pretty much walked all over us with suprisingly fast speed runs throughout, getting all 4 to the safe room!

At this point i dont think we had much fight left in us, and illusion buggered off as we couldnt do anything about it anymore.

Very nice opponent, and i'm sure we'll learn from it tactically. GG and rematch when we're ready :D
